Some people have been targeted with "cold calls" - these are telephone calls to you that you have not asked for. During these calls you may have been offered a "free" Pension Review Report
Some firms provided "free" Pension Reviews, or Pension Comparison Reports. The aim of these reports was often to persuade you that it would make sense to transfer your pension
You are likely to have been promised high rates of return if you moved your pension. But often this involved transferring, via a SIPP, into high risk, illiquid, unregulated assets - like store pods or overseas property development, or "Green" plantations.
Were you given the advice by a regulated UK Independent Financial Advice firm? Did they recommend that you should transfer into a Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) ? If so, we may be able to help you.
