Financial Services News firm Citywire reported on 14th November 2017 that " A Cardiff-based advice firm is set to close after the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said recommendations to invest in discretionary fund manager (DFM) Beaufort Securities were ‘unsatisfactory’." 

An entry on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) website states that PWC have been appointed as Administrators of Beaufort Securities. It also states that eligible clients will be able to make a claim via the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
